Dynamsoft TWAIN Products

I have implemented Dynamic Web Twain and all seemed to work until the two recent deployments. The remote sites, using the same scanners and installation techniques as my other sites, are timing out. When they hit 'scan' button, the scanner start sucking in pages, but the images never get posted to my site. They get a timed-out error. These are corporate computers, running Windows 2000. I suspect that its either some odd firewall issue or some local file permissions issue.

1) Any suggestions?
2) Can you provide a specific list of system requirements? and how to test for them?

This should not be a permission issue. Dynamic Web TWAIN is designed for web environment. No local file writing is required.

The system requirement of Dynamic Web TWAIN is Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, 2003, XP.

It is likely there is any setting in the firewall that causes the timeout. Would you please ask your admin to confirm this?

If this is not the issue, please let us know the error string (check ErrorString property) and response string (check HTTPPostResponseString property, if the images are uploaded through HTTP POST method).
