Would you please let me know more information about this issue?

1. Are you developing a desk top application or a web application?

2. What operation are you doing when you met the error message?

3. Does the error message pop up as a message box or returns from IE?

More information will be appreciated.

Thanks.

You can try using the following solutions:

1. Turn Protected Mode off.
2. To temporarily elevate permissions of IE: click Start, point to All Programs, right-click IE, and then select Run Elevated (with Administrator permissions).

Sorry for the misunderstanding. It seems that it is protected from DEP which is active in Vista by default. Please try the way in the following page to see if it works:

Thanks.
