We are experiencing an issue where in our web application we are using CopyToClipboard method to copy a specific image into one instance of the control and then calling LoadDIBFromClipboard to 'paste' it into another instance of the control.

This works fine when using IE8 on Windows XP but when moving to Windows 7 with IE8, the browser crashes when calling LoadDIBFromClipboard. My guess is that this is related to the DEP protection being enabled in Windows 7 preventing the ActiveX control from accessing the clipboard memory.

Is this a known issue with the control? If so, do you have a workaround to allow us to use the functionality with DEP turned on on the workstations?

We had known the issue and our development team has worked out an internal version with the issue solved. You can download it here:
http://www.dynamsoft.com/download/Suppo ... NTrial.zip

If you are using a full version, you can contact sales@dynamsoft.com for the full internal version.

To use it, please update the cab file on your web server with the new one.

We plan to release a new version of Dynamic Web TWAIN which will include the fix and other new features next month.

Regards,
