Hi adrianastamat,

ISIS drivers are not supported by our product for the time being. But I believe that our R&D team has had this feature under consideration for quite some time. Will keep you posted on this. The latest information can be found here: http://www.dynamsoft.com/blog/document-imaging/document-scanning-twain-wia-isis-sane/ .

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thank you for your response.
I have downloaded the trial version of Dynamic Web Twain and after that ImageCapture Suite.
Dynamic Web Twain works fine on my local demo and also on your web site online demo.
But ImageCapture Suite doesn't work on local demo and online demo - the scanning do not start when I press Scan button (the scanner exists in the select source), I get only the message that I use the trial version. What I have noticed is that ImageCapture Suite demo web page (Internet Explorer 9) don't ask me to allow ActiveX Controls.

Did it occur when you are running our online ICS demo? If so, please try the followings and see if it works:

Solution 1: Check the security settings of IE on the client machine and verify the following security settings of IE to "Prompt" or "Enabled":

1) Download signed ActiveX controls
2) Run ActiveX Controls and plug-ins
3) Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting

The dialog box of the security setting can be launched from menu Tools -> Internet Options. Then select the security tab.

Solution 2: If you are using Windows Vista/7/2008, please try turning off Protected Mode of IE.

Solution 3: The ActiveX control was already installed on the machine.

To check it, please go to IE menu Tools->Manage Add-ons, choose All add-ons in the drop-down list and see if you can find any DynamicWeb*** class in the add-on list. You can double click it to check the detailed info like its location, the version etc.

Kindly try it and keep me updated on it.

Thank you very much, now it works fine. Do you have a Visual Studio 2008 Demo Project for displaying thumbnails whith 2 Web Twain controls on a page? I couldn't manage myself, I don't know how to register, initiate and set default properties for 2 controls simultaneously on the same aspx page.

I'm testing your products because we have a document management application (ASP.NET) and we want to extend functionality with scanning and OCR. The scenario is:
- users scan batch of documents separated by a blank page or a barcode with a unique registration number;
- each batch is saved in a SQL database as a mutipage pdf, related to a specific registration number.

Have a nice day

Certainly. Could you let me know your email address so that I can send the sample to you?

Or better still, you can also request a sample via:

You are very, very kind. My email address is adrianastamat@yahoo.com.

If you have time, I need some help with the code below. This code search for blank pages (used as separators) in a multipage pdf and separates and saves to the database the pages in each batch as a single multi-page file. It works fine, but when I have more than two pages in a batch, DWObject selects only the first and the last page in the batch. I put comments to make it more clear, and I marked with red where the problem occur.

Actually, DWObject select the first page, keep it selected, then select the second page, then when select the third page unselect the second page, and so on, until the last page, which is kept selected, so no matter how many pages are in a batch it selects only the first and the last one.

Thank you so much for your kindness,
Have a nice day,

Adriana
