 Post subject: Installation on bank's web server

Hi everyone. My team preparig the installation of a asp.net application on bank's web server and I noticed that the installation of ActiveX creates a menu with submenu's related to samples. is it nessecary to instal; it on the production server or may we use a different approach.

Hi akatsoulas,

It is not necessary to install Dynamic Web TWAIN on the production server. You can install the component on any other Windows machine, generate a LPK file and then copy the CAB and LPK files to your web server. For detailed information on how to deploy Dynamic Web TWAIN, please refer to:

Thank yhou for the immediate response,

I generated the LPK file and then copied the CAB and LPK files to the web server, but I am getting an "invalid serial number" messagebox.

What was my mistake?
