Dynamsoft TWAIN Products

The web program that I am using with this scanner recognized this scanner, however, when I try to scan I get the following error message:

DS42019 - "The Image scanner cannot be found. Please check power supply, cable connection, and the scanner is not used by other apps"

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the scanner, but that did not help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Cathy,

Dynamic Web TWAIN works well with all TWAIN compliant devices. To better pinpoint the cause of the problem, please check the following things:

1. The scanner is attached to the computer properly. You can use the Scanner & Camera wizard that comes with Windows to check this.

2. Which OS are you using? If you are using Windows Vista/7/2008, Protected Mode may affect the connection. If this is the case, please turn off Protected Mode and try again.

Also, the latest version – V6.2 is Protected Mode compatible. If you are using an old version, I recommend you upgrade to the latest version. To learn more about what's new, please go to:
