I upgraded to Firefox 4.0 and the control is no longer installed. I am asked to download and install it, which I do... and restart Firefox but it still says it's missing.

Is it compatible with 4.0? If not, will a version be available soon?

Hi cwooslon,

Dynamic Web TWAIN 6.2 is compatible with Firefox 4. Would you please let me know which version of the plug-in you are using? I recommend you download the latest version again at the following link and try again.

Please keep me updated on this issue.

I'm experiencing this problem as well. A bit more detail:

The exact Firefox version is FF 4.0.1 on Windows 7.
The version of the plugin is 6.2- the latest from the download page you referenced. What's even more confusing is that the "Extensions" panel on Firefox shows that WebTWAIN is installed and indicates the version is 6.2, but when the application attempts to use the module, Firefox continues to say that additional plugins are required to display all the media on the page. I've tried uninstalling the extension, restarting firefox, revisiting the page, reinstalling, etc- and every time it'll claim to install but the page won't actually use the addon.

Alright, we managed to get it working. It looks like the official 6.2 download was modified at some point so even though we were using 6.2, it wasn't the same; a complete new download and replacement with the new xpi took care of the problem.

Hi azadam,

Glad to hear that you managed to get it working. You are right that the official version was improved to be compatible with Firefox 4.
