Hello, I'm testing the example online with your browser IE9 64-bit, ActiveX is downloaded correctly, but in the Select Source control does not appear scanner installed, however I did the same test with google chrome and it works perfectly. These same tests I have done with 32-bit IE and it works perfectly.

Do you have any idea what could be happening?

Thank you very much for your attention.

Hi,

For the problem you are experiencing, please check the following things:

1. Did you download the control successfully to the client machine? In other words, did you see a red-cross on the top-left corner of the control? If this is the case, please make sure the application points to the 64-bit CAB file correctly. For detailed information, please refer to:
http://kb.dynamsoft.com/questions/631/H ... +server%3F

2. Please note that 64-bit ActiveX only works with 64-bit TWAIN drivers. Please make sure the driver installed on your machine is 64-bit. To verify this, you can use the 64-bit virtual scanner provided by the TWAIN working group. Here is the download link:
http://twain.org/docs/Twack_64.msi

3. If you've already checked the above two items, please check whether you have enough permission to read the drivers. If you are using Windows 7, Vista or 2008, you can try running IE as administrator (right-click IE and choose "Run as administrator") to see how it works.

If the problem persists, you can contact our support team via Live Help to have an online meeting.

Hi, thanks for responding. I reply to the points made.

1. The control seems to have been installed correctly, because the cross does not appear at the top left. I see in the administration of supplements that DynamicWebTwainCtrlTrialx64.dll dll is installed in C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files

2. I installed Twack_64.msi Test program, and the scanner works perfectly.

3. I've also run the IE 9, with permission administrative and does not work, still does not load the device combo online example "select source"

any idea more?

thank you very much.

Hi,

We are not able to reproduce the problem on our side. Would you please let me know which OS you are using? In addition, did you try with another 64-bit driver?

It would be helpful if we can have an online meeting. If it is convenient for you, you can contact us via Live Help first:
