Dynamsoft TWAIN Products

Hi,

We are using Web TWAIN 5.2 plug-in from Firefox 3.6. The web application is running on Windows Server 2008 using IIS 7.

When I try and upload an image to a SSL port I receive the -2003 error. When I disable SSL and try to upload the image again it works.

There is a post from 19 Nov 2009 titled "Http process error (2003) on HTTPUploadThroughPost" that seemed to be the same issue. What was the resolution?

When I look at the IIS logs I do not see an entry for the Action Page. When I turn SSL off I do see the Action Page entry.

As this is a User Acceptance Test environment I am using a self-signed certificate. I don't know if this is an issue.

The upload from Internet Explorer works fine to the SSL port.

Hi Dave,

Would you please double check your code to make sure that you have set IfSSL to true and that the SSL port is consistent with the settings of IIS?

Also, would you please use the property HTTPPostResponseString to find out what exactly caused the issue?

One correction. I am using Firefox 3.5.8

IsSSL is definitely true.

I ran another test with additional output and here are the results after the HTTPUploadThroughPost.
HTTPPostResponseString is empty.
ErrorString is "HTTP process error"
ErrorCode is -2003

When I run in IE 7 here are the results after the HTTPUploadThroughPost.
HTTPPostResponseString is empty.
ErrorString is "Successful"
ErrorCode is 0

Any idea?

Hi,

The issue was with the self-signed certificate. You may get SSL connecting issue when using self-signed certificate in Firefox.

According to our chat online, the problem has been solved by changing the certificate.
