Currently, Dynamic Web TWAIN is not able to detect the version number of the control stored on local machines.

The version number specified in your code (see below) should be the same as the one of the CAB file on your web server. Did you deploy different versions of Dynamic Web TWAIN on your web server? If yes, we recommend you upgrade them to the same version.
http://kb.dynamsoft.com/questions/575/H ... version%3F
Code:
<object classid="clsid:E7DA7F8D-27AB-4EE9-8FC0-3FEC9ECFE758" id="DynamicWebTwain1" width="143" height="156"
CodeBase = "DynamicWebTWAIN.cab#version=6,2">

If you've deployed the same version of the product, the control on client machines will be updated to a newer version automatically.

Tell me if you have any further questions.

Hi lcgray,

Yes. Once you deploy the latest version of Dynamic Web TWAIN to your web server, your clients will be asked to update the control when they access your scan page.
