Hello
We are planning to build a web application that controls a local scanner. The web application will reside on Domain A while the physical scanner is on Domain B. Users from Domain B will access the web app on Domain A via Citrix.

We have been generating <200kb pdf files from our scans. However, since the scanner is on Domain B and the web app is on Domain A. Will the raw data that is passeed be <200kb? or much larger? When we specify tiff as an output, the same files become 2-3 mbs.

thx

Hi g5spark,

You can set the following properties to make the TIFF files smaller:

Resolution
http://www.dynamsoft.com/help/twain/pro ... lution.htm

PixelType
http://www.dynamsoft.com/help/twain/pro ... elType.htm

TiffCompressionType
http://www.dynamsoft.com/help/twain/web ... onType.htm

Thanks,
