I'm evaluating to purchase your product. (Dynamic TWAIN). I Just Downloaded the try version, However the Help seems not to work.


We are looking for a component like your to use in Delphi, we already installed it and use it in a test application. However, because the help issue we can not find if it is possible to scan directly to a stream without having to scan to a JPG file. We will put the image in a Database and don't want to deal with Disk I/O issues.

can you help with this ... ?

The possible cause of the problem is that the content is blocked by security settings.

Please try right clicking the CHM file you have downloaded to the file system and selecting the 'Properties'. If the following contents "Security: This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer." are on the 'General' tab, please click the 'Unblock' button and information should be displayed.

Please try the hDIB property that returns the Handle of the DIB (Device Independent Bitmap) of a specified index in buffer.

We have the same issue here, can your component send the image as stream to a webservice and have the webservice receive the stream and store it into db or web server io

Dynamic TWAIN does not have the capability of uploading the scanned image to web server, which Dynamic Web TWAIN does.

We provide sample code of Dynamic Web TWAIN in ASP, VB.NET, C#, PHP and JSP. These samples demonstrate how to upload acquired images to file system or database on Web server. If you need a sample of Dynamic Web TWAIN, simply email our team at twainsupport@dynamsoft.com.
