Strange behavior was noted when using WIA driver for Avision Sheetfed Scanner AV210D2+. AcquireImage function always invokes failure callback with the error -1032 (User cancelled the operation) for some reason, while the new images are being acquired actually. When scanning several pages at once, there is a little delay after the first page; additionally, on one system, the second and following pages are being scanned with another parameters (i.e. the first page is B&W as expected and the others are in color).

The same scanner collaborates well with the Dynamic Web TWAIN via its TWAIN driver.

What is the reason for this behavior? Could it be fixed somehow? Is it something specific, or the Dynamic Web TWAIN could work not very well with WIA drivers in general?

(NOTE: We are using Dynamic Web TWAIN 12.3.1)

Hi IgorKrein,

Thanks for contacting Dynamsoft.

As you may know, Dynamic Web TWAIN SDK is mainly for communicating with TWAIN drivers. WIA drivers are not supported and will not be supported in the near future.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Regards,

Thanks for the heads up. I'll avoid doing that then.
